Evidences and Reconciliations, p. 127 “Latter-day Saints know through modern revelation, that the Garden of Eden was on the North American continent and that Adam and Eve began their conquest of the earth in the upper part of what is now Missouri…” — John A. Widtsoe
Ephesians 4:14 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”.
Praise the Lord that He’s given us scripture to lean on when false teachings like Mr. Widtsoe’s show up on our doorstep.
1.What were Adam and Eve fighting? Why is Mr. Widtsoe referring to their lives as a conquest?
2.The Garden of Eden isn’t on the North American continent, thereby making it impossible they were in Missouri of all places.
As members of the Church study the BoM this year, pray for the Lord to open their eyes to the silly false prophecies like this one.
With Love in Christ;

I thought it was near the St. Louis Arch…No? Ok my bad.
The Garden of Eden was likely in what we now call Iraq. Everything began in the Middle east, Jerusalem is God’s capital city. I (personally) believe, that so much of what happens today and what will happen to mankind in the future, will somehow revolve around the MIDDLE EAST
