February 4 — Name of Mormon Godhead is Ahman. Proverbs 30:4 “Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?”

There are literally hundreds of verses in the Bible where God’s name is mentioned. Each reveals who He is, which in turn brings us to a better understanding of Him and deepens our relationship.
With that said, there’s nothing in the Bible telling us God’s name is ‘Ahman’. The only time that name is mentioned is in the works of Joseph Smith, or in Masonic writings. This is yet another example of Joseph Smith’s false prophecies.
The Bible verse we’ve listed here is a pretty descriptive explanation of our Lord. It’s also a good one to share with the Mormon in your life because it points to Jesus! Be sure to share this with the Mormon you know!

“Godhead. [President Joseph Smith] said [it] was the province of the Father to preside as the Chief or President, Jesus as the Mediator, and [the] Holy Ghost as the testator or witness. The Son had a tabernacle and so had the Father, but the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit without tabernacle. The Great God has a name by which he will be called, which is Ahman. (Joseph Smith, The Words of Joseph Smith, p. 64; standardized)”. — Encyclopedia of Joseph Smith’s Teachings, p. 297.
