Today we’re looking at the Church’s décor outside the LDS Admin Building.
While the Church puts a lot of emphasis on what takes place inside the 420 foot structure with all the Church records, we have to wonder why they didn’t pay attention to the finer details.
Two torch basins adorned with three ram-goat heads flank either side of the front entrance.
Here’s what the Lord has to say about goats vs. sheep…
Matthew 25:31-34 “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”.
Make no mistake, this wasn’t an oversight my friends. Goats were a symbol of apostates who won’t find favor with God. The imagery of what they’ve produced tells us that what they’ve housed inside has been rejected by God. This includes all the names on their membership roles.
When you have the opportunity, be sure to ask a Mormon for their opinion on this!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
When a Mormon leaves the church and becomes a Born Again Christian, he.she is immediately labeled an apostate by the church. How crazy is that?
Their behavior mirrors that of a petulant child, or teenager. They react to their surroundings, instead of responding to them.
