June 7 — Fruit of Christianity. John 15:5,16 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

The proof of true Christianity is evident in its own history – aka, the fruit of its works. Christianity doesn’t change with surrounding circumstances, nor does it have a changing of the guard. There’s always been One who leads the body of Christ.
That fact is one of the fruits of Christianity.
Sadly, the LDS Church has instituted a laundry list of things they must adhere to, taking them further away from the Lord. The reference below states their church exists to ‘provide doctrine, and authority necessary to perpetuate relationships in eternity…’
The truth is that Christianity exists to encourage, and teach one another about God’s word. Hebrews 11:24-25. The fruit of Christianity is seen in our good works, and the love we have for fellow mankind.
The one thing Christianity doesn’t claim to have is the Melchizedek Priesthood held by male members because that’s held by one person alone – Christ Jesus. Hebrews 7:23-26. All Christians have been ordained to share the word of God. Furthermore, there are no familial relationships in heaven, regardless of what the LDS faith claims.
We must pray for the cycle of lies to be broken, and for these dear people to get saved!

General Conference, ‘The Melchizedek Priesthood and the Keys’, April 2020 “The Church exists to provide the doctrine, the authority, and the ordinances necessary to perpetuate family relationships into the eternities. … Satan is anxious to confuse our thinking or to lead us astray on important matters like the operations of the priesthood of God…The Savior…gave us this test to help us choose the truth from among different teachings that might confuse us: “Ye shall know them by their fruits,”…
Therefore, we should look to the results—“the fruits”—of principles that are taught and the persons who teach them. That is the best answer to many of the objections we hear against the Church … Follow the test the Savior taught. Look to the fruits—the results. … We are led by a prophet, President Russell M. Nelson, whose leadership the Lord has used to achieve the progress we have felt during all of the more than two years of his leadership.” Dallin Oaks
The Book of Acts is a Christians guide to what is expected of us as followers of Christ. The Mormon Church believes you have to be baptized with water and then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. In Acts 10:44-47, the believers received the gift of the Holy Ghost first and then after that, were baptized in water.
“While Peter yet spoke these words, the Holy Ghost fell upon all which heard his words. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many came to Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then answered Peter. Can any man forbid water, that these should be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost? And he commanded them to be baptized in water in the name of the Lord.Jesus Christ.”
