March 12 – Baptisms for the Dead Means Not Trusting God. Isaiah 8:19-20 “And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Clearly, Mormons are participating in activities where they shouldn’t be involved. The other problem here is that mankind is without excuse believing those who lived prior to us, didn’t know about the Lord. A great site to glean info on this subject matter comes from Teaching the Word. While the pastor here has focused on atheism, it applies to this situation as well. The bottom line is this – every person that’s ever lived knows that God exists. See Romans 1:18 – 3:26. God has meticulously and abundantly provided ample proof showing us that He is the creator. Believing anything outside those parameters indicates you don’t believe in the God of the Bible.
The LDS teaching today is an excuse to practice witchcraft and necromancy.
