April 23 – King David & Murderers. 2 Samuel 7:16; “And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.” 2 Samuel 12:13; “And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.”

Mormons believe there are three reasons that someone would never receive forgiveness, and one of them is murder. They’re very clear when they say King David wasn’t forgiven, nor will he be in heaven.
God’s word, however, contradicts what Joseph Smith declared and we see this in both scriptures listed here today. After sharing these with the Mormon you know, ask him/her for their opinion about it. Will King David be in heaven? God’s word doesn’t give any indication that he wouldn’t be!

D&C 42:79; “And it shall come to pass, that if any persons among you shall kill they shall be delivered up and dealt with according to the laws of the land; for remember that he hath no forgiveness; and it shall be proved according to the laws of the land.”
Joesph Smith murdered 2 people.
As I told Sandra in my comment below, it’s rather ironic Smith would think someone like King David (a man after God’s own heart) wouldn’t go to heaven, but he (Smith and others) would be excluded from their self-imposed standards.
If Joseph Smith ‘speaketh’ it…..it’s 95% of the time a lie. Those Mountain Meadow Massacre participants are in some serious trouble, I would suggest.
Ironic isn’t it?
