Believers are White
3 Nephi 19:25 “And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof.”
Acts 10:34-35 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.”
Does this sound inspired? Thank you Jesus you got me out of Mormonism just as you did for Jonah when he came out of that whale. My prideful heart kept me there enslaved to sin thirteen years longer than I should’ve been.
Speaking of slavery: did you know slavery wasn’t based upon skin color until circa 400 AD. Until that time it was based upon the god you worshiped, not your skin color. Man was the instigator of racism, not God.
Lovingly ask a Mormon why they’d worship Jesus if he wasn’t white.

Just another example of how racist Mormon teachings have been.
As a happy practicing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I’d love to share this scripture from the Book of Mormon about race.
2 Nephi 26: 33
For none of these iniquities come of the Lord; for he doeth that which is good among the children of men; and he doeth nothing save it be plain unto the children of men; and he inviteth them all to come unto him and partake of his goodness; and he denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.

“Let this Church which is called the kingdom of God on the earth;… [say] we will summons the first presidency, the twelve, the high counsel, the Bishopric, and all the elders of Israel, suppose we summons them to appear here, and here declare that it is right to mingle our seed with the black race of Cain, that they shall come in with us and be partakers with us of all the blessings God had given to us. On that very day and hour we should do so, the priesthood is taken from this Church and kingdom and God leaves us to our fate. The moment we consent to mingle with the seed of Cain the Church must go to destruction, we should receive the curse which has been placed upon the seed of Cain, and never more be numbered with the children of Adam who are heirs to the priesthood until that curse be removed.”
Brigham Young, February 5, 1852.
“Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so.”
Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol.10, page 110.
