October 1 – Born in Bethlehem. Micah 5:1-2; “Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek. 2 But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

This prophecy was written sometime between 750-686 BC, and as we well know, was fulfilled c. 5 BC. See Matthew 2:1-6. In recent years, there have been some naysayers who try to sell the idea Bethlehem was a person, not a town. Again, we know this to be just as false as the bogus prophecy in Alma.
For the past 27 centuries Bethlehem has been credited as being the birthplace of only one famous person known the world over, and that person is Jesus Christ. When/if a Mormon tries to tell you Bethlehem and Jerusalem are suburbs of each other, be sure to correct their erroneous information. The towns are approximately five miles from each other, and besides, it doesn’t match up with what it says in Micah!

Alma 7:10; “And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the land of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.”
[…] Born in Bethlehem […]
How about compliling a list of ‘prophecies’ the BoM got right! Such garbage. Why lie about the Word of God unless the devil has you in his sights. The Bible is beautiful.
Most non- Christians can answer this question. Weather or not they believe in Jesus, most people will say He was born in Bethlehem.
Just one of the many, many places the BOM contradicts the Bible.
