October 18 –– Quest for Godhood Status Galatians 4:4-7a “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son…”

God has made it pretty clear we weren’t sired by God, rather, believers are adopted of God to become sons. We’ll never have all His attributes, but with help through His Holy Spirit residing inside of us, we do try to live godly lives by following Him. Believing we can become just like God is idolatry and it’s what got Adam and Eve booted from the Garden of Eden.
Please, pray for those who believe they can live up to the false standards Mr. Ashton fallaciously told.

General Conference, ‘The Father,’ October 2018 “Becoming Like Our Father As spirit sons and daughters of God, each of us has the potential to become like the Father. To do so, we must worship the Father in the name of the Son. We do this by striving to be obedient to the will of the Father, as the Savior was, and by continually repenting. As we do these things, we “receive grace for grace” until we receive of the Father’s fulness and are endowed with “his character, perfections, and attributes.” – Brian K. Ashton

Genesis 3: 1- “And he said to the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? (This is gaslighting at it’s absolute best).
And verse 5 says…”For God doth know that in the day he eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as god’s (notice little g), knowing good and evil.
From the very beginning God has informed us we can not become gods or even as God. Exaltation leads to no salvation.
