General Conference, ‘The Temple and Your Spiritual Foundation’, October 2021 “The temple lies at the center of strengthening faith and spiritual fortitude because everything taught in the temple increases understanding of Jesus Christ. …
Ponder these three truths: 1. The Restoration is a process, not an event, and will continue until the Lord comes again. 2. The ultimate objective of the gathering of Israel is to bring the blessings of the temple to God’s faithful children. 3. As we seek how to accomplish that objective more effectively, the Lord reveals more insights. The ongoing Restoration needs ongoing revelation.” — Russell Nelson [emp. added]
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scripture.”
The tragedy for members of the Church is seen at its foundation. There’s no truth for people like my mother to lean on for stability in their spiritual life.
The undercurrent of their faith is much like riptides in the ocean. Their mandates take them further away from the Lord before they realize what’s happened. Making matters worse is how they’re required to pony up for salvation. The only constant in the spiritual game of Mormonism is to have open pocketbooks. You’ll need them to pay at the door.
After all, Mr. Nelson himself said ‘The ongoing Restoration needs ongoing revelation’. The God of the Bible has never needed anything! Lastly beloved, why aren’t Jesus’ teachings at the center of knowing more about Him? How does a physical building increase understanding?
Shame on Mr. Nelson and other LDS leaders for leading so many away from Jesus. Be sure to pray for their salvation and share the truth with them today!

[…] LDS Church Needs A Changing God […]
If someone was born without arms, or an amputee, would they be deemed unworthy because they wouldn’t be able to go to the temple and do the sacred signs and tokens, and hand gestures?
Yes! It’s a ridiculous question… because it’s ridiculous. God doesn’t have a list of things we MUST DO, in order to be worthy. Why? For this very reason. An all-knowing God already knows that there are many people who for many different reasons would never be able to fulfill a laundry list of of things they must to be worthy before God.
The point is no one is worthy. And we’re only worthy before God, because of the shed blood of Jesus. It’s not about what we do… it’s about what Jesus did on our behalf.
Excellent point!
