February 22 – Mormons Want to be Saviors for the Dead Romans 1:19-20; “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse”.

God’s word tells us everyone knows the Lord. The problem with man is sin. They don’t want to accept Him, or admit they’ve violated His Laws. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us He has put eternity in our hearts, but alas, we’ve rejected that as well. Instead of appreciating what He’s done, we believe God needs our help.
An example of that is Mormonism’s flagrant blasphemy of ancestor worship and research. Also see Romans 1:21-23 and 1 John 4:14 where it says God sent His Son to be the Savior of the world.
Ask a Mormon why they have to baptize dead people when God has said it’s unnecessary.
On a side note to all this is the hypocrisy the Church displays we’ll be looking at later this week. What they do with the tithes of their people is shameful indeed.

General Conference, ‘Our Personal Ministries,’ October 2014; “Our service and personal ministry are not limited to the living on this earth. We can also do work for the dead—for those who live in the spirit world and who, during their mortal life, did not have the opportunity to receive the saving ordinances of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can also keep a journal and write our family histories to turn the hearts of the living toward the living—as well as the hearts of the living toward their ancestors. It is all about linking our family, generation by generation, in eternal bonds. As we do so, we become “saviours … on mount Zion.”” – Hugo E. Martinez
After death there is no salvation. Hebrews 9:27
C.S. Lewis once said “The gates of hell are locked from the inside”. They’ve made their choice, you can’t help them.
Amen and thanks for sharing his insight!
Yep…….Jeremiah 14:14 comes to mind.

Since Mormons cut themselves a lot of slack by explaining that the Bible wasn’t always translated correctly, they can answer any false doctrine with that heresy. It’s a dirty game they play.
I’ve always thought of their shenanigans as a game of cat and mouse. 🙁
