May 14 – Qualifying for Heavenly Work Positions. Ephesians 3:17-19; “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.”

Our ‘job’ here on earth is to know Christ and Him crucified. As for our heavenly jobs that we’ll have someday, the Bible tells us we will be servants (Rev. 22:3), and we’ll be there praising Him for all He’s done (Revelation 15:3). What service we’ll do is unknown, but we do know we’ll serve Him!
What we aren’t doing here on earth is trying to qualify ourselves for heaven. Works have no place in the world of grace, and grace is how God operates and runs the salvation of mankind. Share with your Mormon loved ones that ‘work’ in heaven isn’t the type of work we know here on earth. In heaven there are no tears, no toil, etc.

I’m curious. If their prophet continues to receive inspiration and revelation, where is the complilation of the new word god sends Mr. Nelson and his predecessors? After the Pearl of Great Price, are there no new books to put on the shelf? This is a serious question. I know the GAs write books….I’m asking about revealed word only.
Great question!!! Of course the answer to that is obvious and oh how we pray LDS members would ask themselves the same!
