August 22 – Exceeding Faith in Jesus c. BC 2200. Matthew 8:10 “When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.”

The BoM has many plagiarisms, but this one stretches the imagination of even the most trusting Mormon. Why would Jesus appear to someone in 2200 BC and marvel at the faith of this person?
How were the words he supposedly used then, an exact replica of what He said in 30 AD? This implies Jesus lied in Matthew 8:10!
Furthermore, also ask your Mormon friend why Jesus told this man in 2200 BC that because of his faith he’d go ahead and take on human flesh?
Wasn’t this already planned?
The Bible tells us Jesus came to earth to save mankind, and redeem them. What does this guy’s faith have to do with the redemption of mankind?
If he didn’t have faith does it mean Jesus wouldn’t have come down to save us?

Ether 3:9 “And the Lord said unto him: Because of thy faith thou hast seen that I shall take upon me flesh and blood; and never has man come before me with such exceeding faith as thou hast; for were it not so ye could not have seen my finger. Sawest thou more than this?”
