August 2 — Last Promise of Jesus. Revelation 22:20 “He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

Are you prepared for the Lord’s return? Jesus proclaimed His soon return three times in this chapter alone — vss. 7, 12, and 20.
John’s response to the Lord’s proclamation was a hearty Amen! The transliteration for Amen is amēn, and means, ‘so be it’. As Christians, may we all proclaim His soon return in our prayers each day!
Sadly, LDS members won’t be told about these things in their lessons because of the Church’s attitude towards the Bible.
It’s nothing short of a tragedy they’ve planted doubts about God’s word into the minds of its members.
Be sure to share this info with the Mormon you know, and explain how you/they can incorporate this into a prayer, and be confident in His word!

Suffered Loss of Many Plain and Precious Things – LDS Church News “The Bible, as it has been transmitted over the centuries, has suffered the loss of many plain and precious parts…Unfortunately, no original manuscripts of any portion of the Bible are available for comparison to determine the most accurate version. However, the Lord has revealed clearly the doctrines of the gospel in these latter days. The most reliable way to measure the accuracy of any biblical passage is not by comparing different texts, but by comparison with the Book of Mormon and modern-day revelations.”
So where are the “golden plates”???

Great question that’ll never be answered by Church authorities. Sadly, there’s a group of LDS who do tours in Central and South America who provide archaeology tours looking for evidence of the stories in the BoM. Ugh…
