February 25 – Jesus’ Blood is Our Righteousness. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Ask your dear Mormon friend, if righteousness comes through the blood of Christ, why does the Church give mandates to earn righteousness?
Jesus already accomplished this for us!

The Pharasees had nothing on these people. As I recall, the Lord Himself chastised them for adding laws that He never intended. See Matt 23:15. His blood on the cross was sufficient. Confess Him and turn from sin, period.
That verse fits their situation perfectly! Oh how I pray they’d see the folly in what their leaders have done and repent and for the leaders to publicly repent as well. May Jesus have mercy on all involved.
Mt. 23:15 ‘Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.’
