March 16 – Is Your Hope in Jesus or Others? Colossians 1:5-6 “For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; 6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth.”

Only our sweet Jesus knows the number of times the scenario in Colossians has played itself out in history. Mormons firmly believe that without Joe Smith no one would know the Lord. This is the reason they do vicarious works for the dead in their temples, and why they have such an extensive missionary program.
Ask your Mormon friend why God would abandon all of us, and then suddenly reappear to just one person in upstate NY (Joe Smith), who by the way, had rejected the God of the Bible.

This is for you World Questioner, “Is your hope in Jesus or others”.
Sadly the LDS church has convinced you things like eternal marriage are more important than being with our Lord Jesus in eternity. You unashamedly admitted it more than once. Please think about how offensive that sounds. Picture yourself standing before Almighty God and then saying to Him, OK my church promised I would get a wife…where is she??? That goes for Islam and other religions as well.
I don’t say these things to be ridicule you or others. I pray you will understand, God’s word (the Biblical truth) comes before anything else, especially our selfish wants and feelings.
