April 14 — Overcome by Jesus v World. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

We pray that if you’ve been overcome, it’s with the peace of Christ Jesus! This world has many obstacles, and especially during a worldwide pandemic in 2020. Hold tight to Him who came to set us free beloved!
Tragically, too many have fallen for the trickery of Joseph Smith and company who claimed Jesus didn’t overcome anything.
Believing their lies gave a perfect foothold for thinking Jesus lied and brings more pressure than what any pandemic could ever do to mankind. An example of this is found in what Brigham Young told members at a conference in Idaho – his words still hold true for them even today.
