July 30 — BoM Believers Turned White. 3 Nephi 19:25 “And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof.”

Thank you, Jesus, that you got me out of Mormonism just as you did for Jonah when he came out of that whale. My prideful heart kept me enslaved to sin much longer than I should’ve been.
Speaking of slavery, did you know slavery wasn’t based upon skin color until c. 400 AD? Until that time it was based upon the god you worshiped not your skin color.
Man was the instigator of racism, not God. The BoM has shown it’s the work of a prejudiced man and the Church has carried on their racist views even today. You can read the 27 verses in the article, Book of Mormon Racist Teachings.
In spite of what the Church has embraced, the theme throughout the Bible is consistently in direct opposition of racist ideologies.
The list below is a small sample of what the Lord has said about judging others based on skin color.
When you have the opportunity share this info with the Mormon in your life! When I was Mormon a Christian showed me how the Bible is filled with verses where God only looks at the heart of man and not the outer appearance.
It had an immediate impact on how I perceived myself. I’m not exactly white and delightsome as the BoM says.
Pray for Mormons to turn to Jesus and forget about the racist canon their church embraces!

God made everyone and he loves them all, mo matter what color they are. Praying Mormons quit believing the lies of Joseph and believe God and his word.
Oh, how I pray they do!

So, whiter than white paint, snow, typing paper, etc? Albinos aren’t even that white. The statement is totally ridiculous.
It’s totally outrageous. How sad that those who sit thru the lessons have to put up w/ it.
