Why would you shun the prayers of other Christians if you’re a Christian?
How does this man know that the hearts of those praying are devoid of the Spirit?
Only the Lord knows the thoughts and hearts of men as Paul said.
Romans 8:27 “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
Why does there have to be an approved pattern for prayer? Isn’t this calling the kettle black?

This statement about Christianity was couched in the middle of teaching Mormons how to pray to God. It seems Mr. McConkie couldn’t resist slamming the body of Christ while discussing something about their own faith. How sad for those who believed his lies.
Using demonstrative evidence share what your relationship is like with Jesus as you interact with Him throughout your day. Yes, there are times when we have formal prayers, however, the majority of Christians don’t pray this way all the time.
