‘These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.’ — Acts 17:11
September 4 — LDS Prophet is Sole Mouthpiece for God. Follow the Living Prophets, p. 40 “Here we must have in mind-must know-that only the President of the Church, the Presiding High Priest, is sustained as Prophet, Seer, and Revelator for the Church, and he alone has the right to receive revelations for the Church, either new or amendatory, or to give authoritative interpretations of scriptures that shall be binding on the Church, or change in any way the existing doctrines of the Church. He is God’s sole mouthpiece on earth for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the only true church. He alone may declare the mind and will of God to his people. No officer of any other church in the world has this high right and lofty prerogative. So when any other person, irrespective of who he is, undertakes to do any of these things, you may know he is not “moved upon by the Holy Ghost” in so speaking unless he has special authorization from the President of the Church. Why would God give us His word if we weren’t to use it to share His gospel and His will for mankind?
What does the simple passage in His word mean that you shouldn’t stop the little children to come to Him and share their thoughts if only the high and lofty LDS prophet has the authority to interpret what God wants for you to know?
Which of the early apostles was a prophet of the LDS Church?
Where did they get their authority from if it wasn’t Jesus?
Pray for Jesus to break through the Mormon fog of confusion that prevents members from trusting outside information!

Just because your prophets say it, doesn’t mean it’s true.
Search the Scriptures…We are accountable to make sure leaders are teaching God’s Truth.
