October 3 — Adam and Noah Held the Priesthood. History of the Church 3:385 “The Priesthood was first given to Adam; he obtained the First Presidency, and held the keys of it from generation to generation. He obtained it in the Creation, before the world was formed, as in Gen. 1:26, 27, 28. He had dominion given him over every living creature. He is Michael the Archangel, spoken of in the Scriptures.
Then to Noah, who is Gabriel; he stands next in authority to Adam in the Priesthood; he was called of God to this office, and was the father of all living in his day, and to him was given the dominion. These men held keys first on earth, and then in heaven.” — Joseph Smith

Let’s look at the LDS doctrinal issues first.
If Adam was God as they teach in other places (D&C 27:11 as one example) then why was he given the priesthood or dominion over the earth if he helped create it?
Wouldn’t he already, have it?
How could Adam be God if he’s also one of the created angels Michael? How could Adam be tricked into sinning to fulfill the plan of salvation if he was God?
How could Noah also be Gabriel? Dead people can’t communicate with living people so how did he communicate with people like Mary and Joseph? Luke 16:19-31.
As a Mormon these two doctrinal items confused me like no other teachings/prophecies did. The confusion persisted until after I left the Church and asked a pastor about this in our church.
The two verses from Psalms are another example of what I pray daily for the people caught up in the lies of Mormonism.
I pray they would try trusting God’s word just one time before tossing it out the window and allowing the old negative tapes to play once again in their heads.
The confusion people experience as a Mormon has nothing to do with how educated someone may or may not be. I had been to university, and this still confused me – not to mention many of the other teachings of the Church.
Finally beloved, remember Eph. 6:11-12 – it’s not about flesh and blood but the powers and principalities of the air…
Please pray for the confusion to clear from the minds of LDS members and for them to have the courage to leave!

I hope and pray all those in cults, who are troubled in their hearts about these crazy doctrines, will heed the urging of the Holy Spirit.
Amen and that includes Mormons, JW’s…you name it. If it’s not coming straight from His word, you have the wrong Jesus.
