General Conference, ‘The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again’, October 2024 “Here is my promise to you: Every sincere seeker of Jesus Christ will find Him in the temple. You will feel His mercy. You will find answers to your most vexing questions. You will better comprehend the joy of His gospel.” — Russell Nelson
_____
Acts 17:24 “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.”

In the last talk of the conference, Russell Nelson gave a false promise. After he made the announcement of 17 more temples, he lied by stating that’s where sincere people would find God.
On the contrary the New Testament is replete with messages that God lives inside the believer not inside a building. Nelson’s talk went against what Jesus said when He told believers the Holy Spirit would come – John 14:23.
Furthermore, there’s nothing inside a Mormon temple that provides ‘better comprehension’ when their ceremonies are nothing, but parroting made up scenarios that don’t teach anything new about Jesus.
We have to ask… are the only sincere people those who step inside a temple?
Share the passage from what Paul said when he was at Mars Hill and please, don’t forget to pray!
2 Corinthians 6:16 “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

[…] Conference Quote: Sincere Seekers Find Jesus in Temples – Russell Nelson […]
Not really much different from Roman Catholic. IE: only a priest can understand the Bible…Jesus is more present when a priest is there…the Catholic church is holy ground. I could go on and on.
Please do and I mean that sincerely! If God inside of a believer isn’t good enough, I wonder what Jesus must be thinking…
Since there were no temples after the Romans destroyed the one in Jerusalem, there was no way to find Jesus temples!!! So what did Christians do?
I’m thinking believers met in homes of other believers! Ha!
