October 4 – Nephi Broke Three Commandments of God. Exodus 20:13, 15, 17 “Thou shalt not kill. 15 Thou shalt not steal. 17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.”

Today you’ll want to ask the Mormon you know why God would command Nephi to murder Laban, lie about his identity and steal the so-called writings from the Jewish temple as they were fleeing Jerusalem. 1 Nephi 4:18, 24.
In one fell swoop he broke three of God’s Ten Commandments, in addition to disobeying His direct orders not to leave Jerusalem during the Babylonian takeover.
We’re left to believe that 1 Nephi 3:7 was the Mormon god’s way of putting a stamp of approval on murder, lying and theft.
