“Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?” Proverbs 20:9
December 3 — Same Sin Twice Makes Former Sins Return. 1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
_____
Today ask a Mormon if they’ll be forgiven if they commit the same sin twice.
After they explain their position, show them what the Lord has to say. There’s a good chance that what they’ve been taught is a lie!
_____
Doctrine and Covenants 82:7 “And now, verily I say unto you, I, the Lord, will not lay any sin to your charge; go your ways and sin no more; but unto that soul who sinneth shall the former sins return, saith the Lord your God.”
_____
There’s no way the Lord heaps your former sins against your charge. Remember Isaiah 43:25
I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.
He is always forgiving and patiently waits for us to turn to Him. Share your favorite verses with the Mormon you know!

[…] Same Sin Twice Makes Former Sins Return – D&C 82:7 […]
I tell Mormons read your Bible and they say they do. But do they go by the bom or the Bible.?They are probably confused since they contradict each other. They say they follow Jesus but they follow the bom and that’s not Jesus. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
There’s probably 1 of 4 problems going on w/ their answers,
1.They’re not telling the truth… or
2.They’re reading the JST (Joseph Smith Translation) which is vastly different from a Christian KJV.
3.They’re reading the KJV the Church issues to them that’s filled with footnotes referring them to LDS dogma.
4.They’ll only ‘believe the Bible as far as it’s translated correctly’.
The problem they have w/ the last scenario is that the Church has never come out w/ a list of verses in the Bible that’s been translated incorrectly.
Oh, the drama.
