January 4 — Was Joseph Smith a Blood Relative of Jesus? Genesis 9:26-27 “And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.”
Luke 3:36 “Which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech,”

The God of Shem … This is another proof that Smith was a false prophet. He claimed to be a blood relative of Jesus and yet he had nothing in writing or otherwise which would’ve given credence to his claim.
Ask your Mormon friend/loved one if they believe Smith was related to Shem. This people group wasn’t exactly white and delightsome.
The other problem in LDS theology and the fulfilled prophecy today is found in the LDS blatant absence of mentioning that Jesus is God.

Solemn Assembly in the Salt Lake Temple, July 2, 1899, Meeting Notes Utah State Historical Society, p. 376 “There are those in this audience who are descendants of the Lord’s Twelve Apostles-and, shall I say it, yes, descendants of the Savior himself! His seed is represented in the body of these men.” – George Q. Cannon
_____
The men in that audience included LDS Church leaders who were descendants of the Smith family.

One thing we know about Joseph Smith was he was a liar or deceived by Satan. I think the first one. Maybe both.
Well, Mr. Smith was raised in a home that practiced witchcraft. George Cannon and his brothers were orphaned by the age of 10 or so. He was an easy target but that doesn’t excuse his decision to deceive others!
Amen.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
