March 19 — Lamanites Will be White and Delightsome. General Conference, ‘Lamanites Will be White and Delightsome’, October 1947, p. 22 “…Lamanites to be “White and Delightsome” … The Lamanites must rise in majesty and power. We must look forward to the day when they will be “white and delightsome,” sharing the freedoms and blessings which we enjoy…when they shall have economic security, culture, refinement, and education…
And in the day when their prophet shall come, one shall rise. . . mighty among them . . being an instrument in the hands of God, with exceeding faith, to work mighty wonders. … (II Nephi 3:24.)
Brothers and sisters, the florescence of the Lamanites is in our hands. May we not fail them, I pray, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.” — Spencer Kimball

The LDS reference listed above is part of a talk given by Spencer Kimball in 1947. There has been a host of problems in his talk for numerous reasons but for today we’re focusing on the comment that one day the Lamanites will be ‘white and delightsome’.
For more info on the controversy about an Indian prophet leading their church just Google that topic with Kimball’s talk. You could spend a lifetime looking at theories of what he meant…
We’re pray the problem there is with the short subject matter is obvious.
1.Why is it important to the Church that one day the so-called Lamanites will be ‘white and delightsome’?
2.What’s the problem if someone isn’t white?
If you’re LDS what are your thoughts? Is it okay to you if someone isn’t ‘white and delightsome’?
If you’re a Christian, please share this info with a Mormon and let them know you’re praying for them!

Just one of many proofs as to just how racist is the LDS.
While my great grandmother wasn’t Indian, she was ‘black Welsh’.
She was a convert and immediately knew there was a problem when she arrived in UT at the age of 18.
Taking away her tea was the least of her problems.
She didn’t speak fluent English; she was very dark skinned and the only time anyone approached her was to collect her tithe. She was widowed at the age of 23 w/ 1 kid and 1 on the way. Her husband died in the Scofield Mine explosion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scofield_Mine_disaster
Still the tithe had to be paid.
The color issue has affected my father’s side of the family even today.
Sigh…
