May 7 – “Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.” Gen. 6:8-9.

Notice in the text how God told Noah which animal to take into the ark and there was no mention of taking any fish with him. Maybe it was because God had that one taken care of?
Some of the lies in the Book of Mormon border on the ludicrous.
Smith prophesied that when the Jews sailed across the ocean to come to the American continent, they were to take fish in the boat they built. It was supposedly 2,200 BC.
How did they keep the fish alive?
Did they have air pumped into a tank?
How did they feed them?
Keep in mind this boat went upside down numerous times during the journey.

Ether 2:2-3; “And they did also lay snares and catch fowls of the air; and they did also prepare a vessel, in which they did carry with them the fish of the waters. And they did also carry with them desert, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee; and thus they did carry with them swarms of bees, and all manner of that which was upon the face of the land, seed of every kind”.

In a loving manner ask the Mormon you know if they think God would tell the Jaredites to take fish.

So crazy! I know a former Mormon who simultaneously laughs and cries when he relates some of the stuff he was taught and actually believed.
I can understand why! I pray they’d stop and think about the scenario.
