June 25 — Nurture a Testimony, Conference Report, April 1953, pp. 122-126 “Adam was the son of God. He was our elder brother, not older than Jesus but he was our brother in the same sense that Jesus was our brother, and he “fell” to earth life. He did not come up through an unbroken line of organic evolution. There had to be a fall. “Adam fell that men might be” (2 Ne. 2:25).” – Elder Marion G. Romney of the Council of the Twelve Apostles

Acts 20:28-30 “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.”

Paul’s words in the text above serve as a strong warning for us to watch and be on guard. If what Paul said almost 2,000 years ago was true then most certainly, they hold true for us today!
Just as there were false teachers then so there is today and Mr. Romney is proof positive of that.
Furthermore, Adam isn’t our elder brother in the sense of how the Church tells its story.
We weren’t spiritually begotten before we got here to earth. 1Cor. 15:44-47
Neither are we the younger brothers and sisters of Jesus.
Adam didn’t fall to the earth. He was created from the dust of the ground and God breathed life into him. Gen. 2:7
And finally – there didn’t have to be “a fall”. This teaching isn’t supported anywhere in the Bible and is nothing more than a fabrication formed in the mind of Joseph Smith.
Romney’s talk was filled with all things Mormon and nothing from His perfect word. Pray for Mormons to reject the lies and trust Jesus!

Well, I thought Adan was God???
So confusing.
And they do that on purpose to try and keep everyone confused.
Shame, shame, shame on them!
