Matthew 18:6 “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

New Testament Stories for Young Readers, The Prophet Peter “After Jesus Christ was resurrected and went to heaven, Peter became the prophet.
Peter taught people about baptism and the Holy Ghost. Thousands of people chose to be baptized!
One day Peter saw a man outside the temple. The man couldn’t walk. Peter said, “In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk.”
The man was healed because of his faith! Peter taught the people at the temple about Jesus Christ.”

The LDS reference today came from a magazine for their ‘young readers’. This means their target audience is intended for kids 7-12 years old.
Here are the two lies –
1.Peter was never a prophet.
2.The lame man wasn’t healed because of his faith!
The lame man was healed through the power of Jesus! When Peter and John told the man to look at them they said ‘In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk’. Acts 3:3-9. It had nothing to do with faith.
This is another layer of prepping members to be guilt ridden if they don’t measure up to LDS standards.
Please, pray for Jesus to intervene when they’re teaching from these books!
With Love in Christ —
