December 18 – Micah 5:2; “But thou, Beth-lehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

Micah’s prophecy was fulfilled shortly after Jesus’ birth. Noteworthy are the reactions of the priests and scribes after the magi answered King Herod’s question!
Matthew 2:3, 6 “When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 6 And thou Beth-lehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.”
Also see John 7:42 “Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Beth-lehem, where David was?”
When sharing this awesome prophecy with a Mormon, you’ll want to ask why Smith’s name, nor the name of the Church, was mentioned.
