February 21 — Ensign, ‘We Bear Witness of Him’, May 1998, p. 4 “We are met to worship the Lord, to declare His divinity and His living reality. We are met to reaffirm our love for Him and our knowledge of His love for us. No one, regardless of what he or she may say, can diminish that love.
There are some who try. For instance, there are some of other faiths who do not regard us as Christians. That is not important. How we regard ourselves is what is important. We acknowledge without hesitation that there are differences between us. Were this not so there would have been no need for a restoration of the gospel.” — Gordon B. Hinckley, 15th LDS Prophet
_____
Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever.”
_____
Mr. Hinckley said that it doesn’t matter what others think of them but that’s a dangerous place for them to be. They’ve had 200 years of people warning them of their heretical views and yet they’re clinging tight to their false god.
If there was a need for a restoration, what did they restore?
Where are the blood sacrifices?
Why aren’t they following the dietary laws of no pork or shellfish?
Why are females allowed in the temples?
Are all Mormon males circumcised?
You can believe and declare anything you want in life, but true Christians believe that Jesus is God incarnate and that’s not what Mormons believe. John 1:1, 14
Christians believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for sins, not in the Garden of Gethsemane. John 19:30
Christians believe they are saved by grace through faith and not works – Eph. 2:8-9.
What part of Christianity was amiss?
Exactly what part of the Bible was mistranslated? Christians believe every word of God is flawless – Proverbs 30:6.
Christians believe the word of God stands forever as it says in Isaiah 40:8.
Please, if you’re LDS ask yourself what needed to be restored.
If you’re a Christian share these things with the Mormon, you know!
With Love in Christ —

[…] Did We Need a Restoration of the Gospel? — Gordon B. Hinckley, 15th LDS Prophet […]
The Bible never needed to be restored. Only Smith came up with that so he could twist everything around for his purpose. God didn’t need Smiths help. God have mercy on them. Prayers they would run to Jesus of the bible not the LDS church/prophets. It’s all about jesus not Joseph. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi MJ!
You’re spot on! I’m convinced Smith hated God and came up w/ one lie after another to try and get others to do the same.
