‘But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.’ Galatians 1:8
March 13 — 2 Nephi 3:3 “And now, Joseph, my last-born, whom I have brought out of the wilderness of mine afflictions, may the Lord bless thee forever, for thy seed shall not utterly be destroyed.” — c. BC 588-570 [emp. added]

Mormon 8:2-3, 5 “And now it came to pass that after the great and tremendous battle at Cumorah, behold, the Nephites who had escaped into the country southward were hunted by the Lamanites, until they were all destroyed. 3 And my father also was killed by them, and I even remain alone to write the sad tale of the destruction of my people. 5 …And behold, I would write it also if I had room upon the plates, but I have not; and ore I have none, for I am alone. My father hath been slain in battle, and all my kinsfolk, and I have not friends nor whither to go…” — c. 400-421 AD [emp. added]

In this BoM passage there are two big problems.
1.This is a false prophecy because Lehi was told his descendants would never die, however, we see that all of the Nephites did in fact die.
2.If Moroni didn’t have room on the plates to write more things, why did he repeat himself about his father’s death?
What purpose does this serve for the Mormon people?
How does this lead them to the Lord?
This is obviously not inspired by God!
2 Timothy 3:16 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.
Ask a Mormon what they think and please, let them know you’re praying for them!
