Today we have a question about an instruction listed in an LDS teaching manual.

We’re also praying diligently all Mormons will come to know they can find the truth by opening their bibles. By doing so, they’ll see how the Jesus of the Bible can’t be the Jesus of Mormonism, and that obviously goes for God’s Holy Spirit as well!

Why so Many Polygamy Contradictions?

Ephesians 5:31; “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.”

dc-church-history-semtm Since its inception the Mormon Church has been all over the board on the subject of polygamy. From 1831 when Joseph Smith was secretly practicing polygamy, to the day they publicly denounced it in April 1904, they’ve been a poster child of ambiguity.

As of today, the Church’s curriculum is a menagerie of just such a system. The teacher’s manual for kids in the LDS Seminary program is a classic example of how they purposefully trick students into believing God commanded Smith to practice polygamy, and at the same time teach that polygamy isn’t mandatory. They’ve twisted historical facts to fit their own agenda in a biblical parody. The only one not laughing is God.

Their incessant contradictions is the prime reason they don’t believe the Bible is translated correctly. If they did, scriptures like Ephesians 5:31 wouldn’t be an issue for them!
