flowers-cartoon-8In the Visiting Teaching Message for March you’ll find a continuation of the LDS series, ‘The Attributes of Christ’ and this time its focus was about ‘long suffering and patient’. Dieter Uchtdorf (LDS apostle) defined patience as ‘active waiting’, ‘staying with something’ and enduring whatever God ‘inflicts’ upon us – Mosiah 3:19. Here in part is what he had to say –

“Patience is not passive resignation, nor is it failing to act because of our fears. Patience means active waiting and enduring. It means staying with something … even when the desires of our hearts are delayed. Patience is not simply enduring; it is enduring well!”
