Titus 2:11-12; “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, 12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age.”
General Conference, ‘The Perfect Path to Happiness,’ Sunday Morning Session, October 2, 2016
Looking at Thomas Monson’s speech at General Conference reminded me of all the warnings Paul gave to new believers in Galatia, and the more I read, the darker my outlook became for the Mormon people. Today we’re taking a quick look at a couple of key items in his speech you can access at the embedded link above.
‘I testify of the great gift which is our Father’s plan for us. It is the one perfect path to peace and happiness. …
Essential to the plan is our Savior, Jesus Christ. Without His atoning sacrifice, all would be lost. It is not enough, however, merely to believe in Him and His mission. We need to work and learn, search and pray, repent and improve.’
