Psalm 42:1-2; “To the chief Musician, Maschil, for the sons of Korah. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?”
A beloved Christian hymn was modeled after the biblical passage above. I remember finding the passage not long after the day of my salvation and was shocked to see how God could speak the deep inner feelings of my heart. Endearing me even more to it was the discovery someone had made it into a song. The wonders of a Christian life never ends!
