July 24 – Isaiah 9:6; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

There isn’t one part of this verse the Mormon Church accepts as truth. Everything their church is built upon is diametrically opposed to this truth. July 24th is considered an almost holy day to the Mormon. It’s when the pioneers settled intoUtah. The foundation of their beliefs began to spread like wildfire from this time forward.

Doctrines of Salvation, Vol. 1:103; “He also taught that, literally, God is our Father; that men are of the same race-the race called humans; and that God, the Progenitor, or Creator, is the Father of the human race. “In the image of his own body, male and female, created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created and became living souls in the land upon the footstool of God.
It is a doctrine common to the Latter-day Saints, that God, the Great Elohim, is the First, or Creator, of the human family.”
We do not see what is wrong with the writing that God is the Creator of all things, because that is what He is according to the Bible.
Also God is our Father and Jesus, who is less than this Elohim, is His son. Jesus has a beginning (he was placed in the virgin Mary and was born about 200 years ago) and really died. God has no beginning (and has ever been) and shall exist for always (He cannot die and has no end.)
So what is written above by the Mormons is also what the Bible says.
To Christadelphians: Maybe what you do not realize is that the Mormons teach and believe that God was once a sinful man on another planet. He attained Godhood by working his way up to being one of many gods throughout the universe. He has multiple wives in heaven and they are “producing” spirit babies. The first spirit baby born to God and one of his many wives, was Jesus (since Hebrew is the language of God’s chosen people, why wasn’t His name Joshua in the pre-existance?) The second born was Lucifer, more commonly called, Satan or the Devil, Jesus’ spirit brother.
Jesus is God incarnate, that means he made himself a little lower than the angels to become a sacrifice for our atonement. He did not begin when He was born to Mary. Yes, He did die on the cross as complete payment for our sins. He raised Himself from the dead 3 days later, Thank you Jesus! He has and will always be God. Rev. 1:8 “I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”. You may not be able to understand or comprehend the Trinity because God’s ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. It’s like trying to explain Quantum Physics to a 5 year old.
If Jesus were not God, He would have renounced any form of worship. Any worship of Him (if He wasn’t God) would be idolatrous “worship and service of the creature rather than the Creator” (Romans 1:25). For we read in (John 20:27-28) Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
(Philippians 2:10-11) “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord…”
Also, we read in (Hebrews 1:6 and 8) “And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says, “Let all God’s angels worship Him”. About the Son He says, “Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever”.
