Sons of Perdition
Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pg 358; “What must a man do to commit the unpardonable sin? He must receive the Holy Ghost, have the heavens opened unto him, and know God, and then sin against Him. After a man has sinned against the Holy Ghost, there is no repentance for him. He has got to say that the sun does not shine while he sees it; he has got to deny Jesus Christ when the heavens have been opened unto him, and to deny the plan of salvation with his eyes open to the truth of it; and from that time he begins to be an enemy. This is the case with many apostates of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”
Matthew 12:32; “And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.”
In this passage of Matthew Jesus condemned the Pharisses for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Their rejection of the HS working inside of Jesus was their intended target and Jesus spent no time whatsoever thinking they did this on accident or without knowledge.
God said you can blaspheme His Name and you can blaspheme Jesus, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is out of bounds and this is the one thing you cannot ever receive forgiveness for.
Speaking against a manmade organization, aka Joseph Smith’s ideas, has nothing to do with being condemned by God let alone blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
