As I was sorting through the e-mails on our website at LifeAfter.org and those I received via my inbox I came across a set of posts from one person on our site I wanted to share with y’all over here on the blog.
As is usually the case hurling accusations and character assassination precede everything else. Many times we won’t receive a response so if there’s no follow-up on this, don’t be surprised. Here’s the direct link if you want to check it out after you read it here!

This man was responding to one of our posts in the 1,000+ Reasons to Leave Mormonism section. He clicked on “Leaders Speak, Thinking is Done” and as you’ll see below, he wasn’t too thrilled with what I had to say.
I’m posting this over here not to humiliate this person, but to ask the readers here to please pray for him! Thanks and God bless! Michelle
Leaders Speak, Thinking is Done – Mormon Quotes
Improvement Era, June 1945; “When our leaders speak, the thinking has been done. When they propose a plan—it is God’s plan. When they point the way, there is no other which is safe. When they give direction, it should mark the end of controversy. God works in no other way. To think otherwise, without immediate repentance, may cost one his faith, may destroy his testimony, and leave him a stranger to the kingdom of God.”
2 Corinthians 11:19-20; “For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise. 20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.”
What about listening to God and His word? Would that be considered safe or unsafe?

I have a question for you. Does your church have prophets and apostles as the foundation of Christ church as Paul explained in the bible? Ephesians 2 19-20?
Another thing, why don t you live your religion and stop blaming the mormon church ? I feel sorry for you, instead of using your time to help other you spend a lot of time of your life talking about the mormon church and its doctrine. You posted articles just the day after conference. Oh man get a life dont you work? don t you have a family to maintain? I really feel sorry for you.

Mr. Martinez –
First of all, the site is set up to not allow posts to show automatically. This way filthy language and spam can be trashed before it gets posted.
Secondly, I’ve not lied about anything. That’s a pretty strong accusation with no examples of where I’ve lied or what I’ve lied about.
Coward? Really? How am I afraid and what am I afraid of Mr. Martinez?
Know that we’re praying for you – and I mean that with all sincerity.

I will leave the message again. I ask does your church have prophets and apostles as the foundation of Christ church as stated by paul in ephesians 2 19-20? I also ask, don’t you have a life? come on… you have spent millons of hours getting all this info against mormons and try to talk bad about them all the time. why don’t you spend your time helping others and do good things for people? Don’t you have a family ? Don’t you have a religion to live for? As far as i know mormons don’t spend their time talking abou other religions and creating blogs and web pages in order to talk bad about others.
I feel sorry for you, I read many of your articles and don t have even good answers and scriptures that help to clarify what you believe. I wanna know more about your church. you only mention that to believe in Christ you are saved that s all I know about your church. That s so simple, life is simple, let s kill, get drunk, live our lives and then say at the very moment of dying that I belive in Christ ‘ grace and i m saved???? you are pathetic and your teachings are pathetic

Ezequiel –
This ministry – Life After Ministries – is not a church, it’s a ministry.
This ministry like other ministries is made up of a group of Christians who have come together to explain the differences between Mormonism and Christianity.
You asked why don’t I get a life…well I have a life and God called me into ministry. He called me to expose the lies of Satan and lead the Mormon people to the real Jesus of the Bible and stop worshiping the Jesus of Mormonism.
As for me helping others – how do you know that I don’t do this? Why are you attacking me personally?
If you had spent the time to read why we do this – the testimony section or about us section – you would have known I do in fact have a family but why is this so important to you? What if I didn’t have family? Am I a bad person if I have no relatives?
As for religion – no I don’t have a religion I live for. I live for Christ and Him crucified. My love, worship and adoration for Him supersedes any organization.
You said that as far as you know Mormons don’t spend time talking about other religions and creating web pages to talk bad about others…
How well do you know Mormonism? You see, many times when I receive notes like yours the person is indeed LDS but they hide behind a veneer of accusations, suppositions and personal character assassinations of those who expose the lies.
The Mormon Church was built upon the premise that all of Christianity is the whore of Babylon – 1 Nephi 14:10. Joseph Smith’s testimony also says that God told him not one single person was worshiping him properly. The Church has sent out 80,000 missionaries according to their prophet Monson to convert people to Mormonism. Many of those converts are already members of other churches so why would they do that if they weren’t out saying bad things about others? Do you know the real history of Mormonism?
I know that as a Mormon I spent 30 yrs in oblivious ignorance about my heritage. I had no idea the leaders of the Church had degraded the body of Christ the way they did and it shocked me to learn Brigham Young even said Christianity was hatched in hell.
Journal of Discourses 6:176; “Brother Taylor has just said that the religions of the day were hatched in hell. The eggs were laid in hell, hatched on its borders, and then kicked on to the earth.” – Brigham Young
D&C 112:23; “Verily, verily, I say unto you, darkness covereth the earth, and gross darkness the minds of the people, and all flesh has become corrupt before my face.”
John Taylor, Journal of Discourses 6:167; “There is not nation now that acknowledges that hand of God; there is not a king, potentate, nor ruler that acknowledges his jurisdiction. We talk about Christianity, but it is a perfect pack of nonsense. Men talk about civilization; but I do not want to say much about that, for I have seen enough of it. Myself and hundreds of the Elders around me have seen its pomp, parade, and glory; and what is it? It is a sounding brass and a tinkling symbol; it is as corrupt as hell; and the Devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work that the Christianity of the nineteenth century.”
Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses 18:172; “But as there has been no Christian Church on the earth for a great many centuries past, until the present century, the people have lost sight of the pattern that God has given according to which the Christian Church should be established, and they have denominated a great variety of people Christian Churches, because they profess to be. They say, “We have built chapels unto the name of the Lord; we call our Churches Christian Churches, they are called the Church of Christ, St. John’s Church, St. Paul’s Church, St. Peter’s Church, and after others of the ancient Apostles;” and one who had never studied the pattern which God has given of the Christian Church would almost really believe that they are Christian Churches.” – Salt Lake City, March 26, 1876
Journal of Discourses 2:196-197; “I do not wish to be understood that we are now living in a dark age of the world, but for the last fourteen hundred years the world have been enveloped in darkness, in which wickedness has ruled, and the powers of darkness have prevailed among the children of men, and the nations have been bound down by false traditions, and incorrect principles, but the day has now dawned, the dark clouds have now broken up and soon will pass away, and the sun of righteousness will arise in its glory, and show forth the light of heaven; and for that I am thankful…” – Wilford Woodruff, Salt Lake City, February 25, 1855
Yes life can be simple when/if we follow the Lord! The Bible is clear, there is no other name given by which we are saved – Acts 4:12 and we are not saved by works –Ephesians 2:8-9. And yes even deathbed confessions can take place! Have you ever read what Jesus said to the thief on the cross? Luke 23:39-45. He hung there dying with no chance of doing good works and Jesus saved him.
I don’t know what your background is but I do know the Lord Jesus loves you. I do know that He wants all to be saved. Is this the Jesus you know? If not I invite you to accept Him into your heart! Romans Road
If you find anything on this site about Mormonism that is wrong let me know and I’ll change it asap. Not agreeing with me doesn’t make it wrong, that means you have a different opinion of the Church than I do. Please provide written documentation refuting what I’ve said on the site.
know that we’re praying for you!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle Grim
