Joseph Smith the Prophet, pg 104; “No one can ever enter the Celestial Kingdom unless he is strictly honest.” – Truman Madsen quoting Joseph Smith
Saints Do Not Practice Polygamy
Times & Seasons Vol. 4, No. 9, March 15, 1843, pg 143; “We are charged with advocating a plurality of wives, and common property. Now this is as false as the many other ridiculous charges which are brought against us. No sect have a greater reverence for the laws of matrimony, or the rights of private property, and we do what others do not, practice what we preach…” – Joseph Smith
Proverbs 19:9; “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.”
When Smith denied practicing polygamy in March of 1843 he had 28 wives. He wasn’t just someone who had a streak of bad luck and was widowed or something. He was married to all of them at the same time – all 28 of them.
By his own admission I guess he won’t be making it to the Celestial Kingdom eh?
