Gospel Doctrine, p. 272; “The house of the Lord is a house of order and not a house of confusion; and that means that the man is not without the
woman in the Lord, neither is the woman without the man in the Lord; and that no man can be saved and exalted in the kingdom of God without the woman, and no woman can reach the perfection and exaltation in the kingdom of God alone. That is what it means.” – Joseph F. Smith
Psalm 50:21; “…thou thoughtest that I was altogether such as one as thyself; but I will reprove
thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.”
The Bible is replete with instructions to mankind on how we can obtain salvation.
Furthermore, God has made it abundantly clear that He alone saves (James 4:12)
There are no marriages in heaven (Mark 12:19-25)
It’s through His mercy we are sanctified which in turn, justifies us before Him (Romans 5:1)
Besides all that a huge question remains –
If a mate is needed to get into heaven, why did Jesus come here and die for us?
Why does the Church refer to Jesus as their redeemer if marriage is all it takes to get into heaven?
