Galatians 2:21 “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
LDS.org, ‘Conference Notebook,’ October 2016
“The Plan of Salvation … Essential to the plan [of salvation] is our Savior, Jesus Christ. Without His atoning sacrifice, all would be lost. It is not enough, however, merely to believe in Him and His mission. We need to work and learn, search and pray, repent and improve. We need to know God’s laws and live them. We need to receive His saving ordinances. Only by so doing will we obtain true, eternal happiness.” – Thomas S. Monson, “The Perfect Path to Happiness,” Ensign, Nov. 2016, 80–81.
Acts 16:31 “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
Hebrews 9:14, 10:10; “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Did you see Monson’s list of ‘must dos;’? Yikes!
His first lie came when he said it’s not enough to merely believe.
If that’s true, Luke lied. And so did Paul when he wrote to the believers in Rome and said the same thing. Romans 4:25
Mr. Monson went on to say,
‘We need to work and learn, search and pray, repent and improve. We need to know God’s laws and live them. We need to receive His saving ordinances.’
We have a question for Mr. Monson –
Is he living all of God’s laws? There are 613 of them. Is he sure he’s living up to each and every one of these laws?
Today, we have the same question we had yesterday.
If this directive is true, why did Jesus come here and die?
As the author of Hebrews stated – how will this clean your conscience?
The other item we wanted to bring attention to today is the talk Ms. Stephens gave at General Conference. In her speech, ‘The Master Healer’, she stated the ‘Savior has the power to change our hearts and give us permanent relief from our sin…’
Our question for Ms. Stephens –
How can Jesus do this when Mr. Christofferson claimed Jesus can’t save us in our sins?

“Christ’s Infinite Atonement … “The Master Healer,” Ensign, Nov. 2016, 10, 11, 12.
“The Savior, the Master Healer, has the power to change our hearts and give us permanent relief from the sorrow caused by our own sin. …
“‘… If ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come … will I receive’ [3 Nephi 9:14].”” – Carole M. Stephens
