Journal of Discourses 12:322; “Has God said anything about temporal riches? Yes. He told this Church, before it was one year old that we should become the richest of all people. His words will be fulfilled. The Lord says we shall not only have the riches of eternity, but we shall have the riches of the earth. God does not care how much wealth His people have, provided they obtain it according to the law he has instituted.” – Orson Pratt, Salt Lake City, November 1, 1868
Matthew 6:21, 24; “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Some things just speak for themselves, and this is one of those.
Historically, the mindset of this church has equated fat pocketbooks with righteousness. Sadly, they’ve fallen way short on the latter while placing too much value on the former. Pray for those who’ve fallen into this trap!

Hi Michelle,
Leading everyone to Jesus Christ is the main focus of the Savior. What does the Holy Bible say and the fate of those who have never heard of the gospel of Jesus Christ and have died?
Regards,
Andrew
Dear Andrew,
Thank you for or your question.
This is a very common but important question among atheists counter-christians and every other religion.
Romans 10: 14-15 says-
” How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring Glad tidings of good things”.
With today’s modern technology, and the number of Christians, there really aren’t too many places in the world that haven’t been reached.
You see, when someone stands before the judgement seat of God, never hearing of Christ, they won’t be judged for not knowing Jesus. However, God did write His moral law on every heart, and they will be judged for for their sin.
Hope this helps,
Melissa
Thanks for the great answer Melissa! I pray that Andrew will read it and write back.
In Christ –
Michelle
