January 17 — Exaltation. Psalm 46:10; “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
_____
The Greek word for exalt is rāmam. The transliteration for it is to raise, or extol. Clearly, if God is raised and extolled amongst the heathens, and over all the earth, there’s no room for anyone or anything else. Ask the Mormon why they’d have to procreate to be exalted. Share with them that God is exalted based on His merit of being God alone.

Mormon Doctrine, p. 185 “Celestial marriage is the gate to exaltation, and exaltation consists in the continuation of the family unit in eternity. Exaltation is eternal life, the kind of life which God lives…they have spirit children in the resurrection, in relation to which offspring they stand in the same position that God our Father stands to us. They inherit in due course the fulness of the glory of the Father, meaning that they have all power in heaven and on earth. (D. & C. 76:50-60; 93:1-40.) “Then shall they be gods…” – Bruce McConkie
Again, the Mormon Church exalts itself above the Word of God (Bible).Mormon leaders, from Joseph Smith to present day, preach a gospel that is not found in the Bible. Joseph Smith added his own concepts, ideas and ego manifestations which he called revelations. This is why the Bible warns people to not become prisoners of their own imaginations (2 Corinthians 10:5)
Exaltation, celestial marriage and forever families???
Mr. McConkie forgot to mention Jesus in this arrogant doctrine, so I will.
JESUS says in Luke 18 “for any man who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted”.
Humble yourself in Christ, NOT a sinful, prideful man. There is no such thing as exaltation, we can not become gods. Salvation is through Jesus alone. Please don’t believe what this man said over what Jesus said.
Oh, so true Melissa! Amen, amen, amen!
