April 5 — Blood of the Covenant. Hebrews 9:12-14; “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

Unfortunately, Mormons don’t understand the meaning of covenant. When you have the opportunity share the importance of this word with the Mormon you know! Performing an ordinance doesn’t secure your place as a member of God’s ‘covenant people’. An ordinance is something you perform once you’re already following Him. Grab a dictionary and show them the meanings of both words!

“The Power of Covenants” “By the ordinance [of baptism], we become part of the covenant people of the Lord and heirs of the celestial kingdom of God.”— D. Todd Christofferson
Revelations 22:18,19, tells believers not to accept any additional scripture, thoughts or instruction (Gospel) other than that which we have received from the Lord in HIS WORD(Bible). The Mormons believe and teach, that faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ and in the resurrection alone, is not adequate for salvation The Mormons believe that. In order to be saved, one must be baptized by a Mormon priesthood holder, and that certain “Saving” ordinances must be performed on the individual member in a Mormon Temples. Unless you are a Mormon in good standing with a Temple Recommend, you can not enter the temple. If you have not given the church 10% of your annual income each year, you can not enter the temple and therefore, can not be saved. Bottom live, only Mormons with temple recommends can be saved. Heck of a racket the boys in Salt Lake City have going.
