May 19 – Instruments in Hands of God. Jeremiah 27:6; “And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.”
_____
The Bible reveals to us that God will use whomever He pleases to accomplish His perfect will. Even the evil King Nebuchadnezzar was used by God. Our question shouldn’t be ‘Will God use me’, but rather, ‘How will God use me’.
Explain to the Mormon that Joe Smith being called a prophet by many doesn’t always mean he’s a true prophet of God.

George F. Richards, Conference Report, October 1948, pp. 9-13; “In my remarks today, I desire to speak of some of the evidences of the divine, personal, and glorified existence of God, the Eternal Father, and of his Son, Jesus Christ, a knowledge of whom I regard as the world’s greatest need; also to give evidence of the fact that Joseph Smith was a divinely inspired prophet of God, that he was an instrument in the hands of God in the restoration of the everlasting gospel, and the establishment of the Church and kingdom of God on earth in this, the gospel Dispensation of the Fulness of Times. . . .
It is of supreme importance that the story told by this boy Joseph Smith, and the evidence of its truth, be carefully and prayerfully considered, for upon the truth or falsity of his story, Mormonism, so-called, must stand or fall.”
The multiple versions of the “first vision” proves he was a false prophet, ergo, Mormonism falls.
The Mormon church covers up so many inconvenient facts about JS. For example, when I was taught about JS and his First Vision, I thought to myself , this has got to be real, otherwise, how many 14 year old boys could spin such a tale and remain adamant that it actually happened, despite all the persecution and ridicule he received. Not many 14 year old boys would be willing to suffer the humiliation that he suffered because of a lie he told. It wasn’t until recently that I learned that JS never actually said anything to anybody about his First Vision until many year after it happened. Even then, he changed his descriptive narrative of the vision at least four (4) times. Law enforcement gets to the truth of a matter by determining whether or not as witness can keep his/her story straight. If a policeman were to have questioned JS about the First Vision and got the many conflicting accounts that he gave, the policeman would likely have concluded that JS was being deceptive.
