On June 6, 1944 at 06:30 more than 160,000 troops began storming the shores of France.
D-Day had begun.
Adolph Hitler was sound asleep.
There aren’t enough words in the English language to thank those who fought, and for those who paid the ultimate price.
Here are a few facts about that monumental day!

Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. (son of President Teddy Roosevelt) led the campaign, and insisted he stay with the troops although he walked with a cane. A month later, he died of a heart attack.

With Love in Christ;
Michelle
