Ether 3:15; “And never have I showed myself unto man whom I have created, for never has man believed in me as thou hast.” — BC c. 2200 [emp. added]
D&C 107:53-55; “Three years previous to the death of Adam, he called Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared, Enoch, and Methuselah, who were all high priests, with the residue of his posterity who were righteous, into the valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman, and there bestowed upon them his last blessing. 54 And the Lord appeared unto them, and they rose up and blessed Adam, and called him Michael, the prince, the archangel. 55 And the Lord administered comfort unto Adam, and said unto him: I have set thee to be at the head; a multitude of nations shall come of thee, and thou art a prince over them forever.” — [emp. added]
John 1:18; “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
Oops, that’s a problem.
Why did God lie to Jared’s brother and tell him no one had seen him if Adam and all his ‘posterity’ had already seen him?
Furthermore, what about the Bible?
Did Jesus lie?
This is another glaring indictment in Mr. Smith’s inspired scripture… Why did Jesus tell Jared’s brother c. BC 2200 that He had never seen anyone with greater faith?
He made a very similar remark about the centurion in Capernaum — Matthew 8:10. Does this sound like something Jesus would do? Anachronism, plagiarism, contradictions, and old fashioned idolatry at its best…
This is the problem with lying. You have to remember every detail of the story you’ve told, and it looks as if Joe Smith forgot some of the tall tales he pawned off as prophecies.
Ask a Mormon you know what they think of this, and be sure to let them know you’ll pray for them!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle

Exodus 33:20: “you cannot see my face, for no man may see my face and live.” Did God suddenly change his mind and decide to appear to certain men, including good old Joe Smith.? God made it very clear in Exodus 33:20: No man may see my face and live. He didn’t say,” for now, no man may see my face and live or,”maybe someday I’ll show my face to people and they may live”. No God was adamant about that. Lets not forget, what God said then, he means for it to apply to today : “For I am the Lord, I change not.” (Malachi 3″6)
