November 2 – 17th Prophet – No Empathy for Abject Poor. Proverbs 19:17 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord.”
_____
17th President of the Church — Russell Marion Nelson — Served from 2018 – Present
The lack of empathy for the poorest of the poor was the hallmark of Russell Nelson’s tour to Kenya. His open hand waited for their money, not to hand them what they might need. Please pray for those who aren’t aware of the Church’s hidden agendas, and for Jesus to intervene!

“We preach tithing to the poor people of the world because the poor people of the world have had cycles of poverty, generation after generation,” he said. “That same poverty continues from one generation to another, until people pay their tithing. The law of the tithe was followed by ancient peoples as taught by Old Testament prophets. LDS faithful believe God restored the law and its blessings for those who follow it by giving one-tenth of their income to the church.” — Russell M. Nelson. See ‘Shameful LDS African Tour’ for more info, and quotes from this speech.
President Hinkley once said that Paying a Full Tithe was the solution to poverty and being poor.
The church preaches, encourages and demands that members pay a full tithe. The church places more emphasis on tithing than anything else;
Tithing settlement every year? What about: Porongraphy settlment, Honesty settlement, Profanity settlement, Attendance settlement, Helping the Poor and Disadvantaged settlement? None of that really matters to the church as long as you pay a full tithe
How many have members have it heard it continually said that: “You pay your tithe before you do anything else. Pay your tithe before you do your rent, buy your groceries or purchase your medicine.
And the church claims to love it’s members???? LOL
Even still to this day, I’m amazed how God takes care of His Church without mandatory tithing.
