Wilford Woodruff Journal, p. 270-271 “President Young said Michael was a resurrected Being and he left Eloheem and came to this earth & with an immortal body, & continued so till he partook of earthly food and begat Children who were mortal. (Keep this to yourselves). Then they died.” — January 27, 1860
1 Timothy 4:7 “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.”
Our LDS reference today is from notes taken by Wilford Woodruff while attending a priesthood meeting in 1860. We left the spelling as in the original.
You can find this same quote in journals of several other LDS leaders who at the time, all had differing opinions as to whether or not, it was from their god. Biblically speaking you can see the numerous blasphemies in what Brigham had to say.
Many of the other writings from leaders long after Brigham, denounced his theory, however, it’s rather obvious he merely expounded on what Joseph Smith had already taught. D&C 27:11 declares Michael is Adam, and the Ancient of Days.
One thing is absolutely certain ~ this is NOT from the Lord, and every leader who didn’t denounce all of what was taught is complicit in deceiving millions.
Pray that Jesus will continue to intervene in the lives of those still ensnared in the lies!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
President Young also said there were people living on the sun and on the moon. I wouldn’t take too much of old Brigham said too seriously, except that many of his words have stood as a barrier between the real Jesus and his LDS followers
